Get Social with KooKoo

It’s been a week now since our KooKoo Social Media Hack has gotten underway. We are sure that you’ve used this time to work on several cool apps. But if you need a bit of a brain boost or plain starving for ideas, here are some to whet your appetite. Please note that all situations described below are entirely fictional. Or are they? 😛

·         Reading Tweets. So you are in an isolated camp site. And there is no internet connectivity. But you want to stay up to date on what’s happening in your social circles. However, you don’t want to disturb your friends by calling them. Oh no, that’s so not done nowadays. So what do you do? Luckily for you, your genius friend took part in the KooKoo Social Media hack and made just the right app for you! You can now call in and read your tweets. In your solo camp-site. Cool, eh?

·         Posting on Facebook. You are stuck in a corner of your city. You have little or no money for an auto or taxi. But you desperately want to go home. But the thing is, your phone is out of data. What do you do? Again your genius friend has come to your rescue here. Call in, send a message to your facebook friends explaining to them about your situation, and one of them will help you. If they don’t, it’s time to get new friends!

·         Businesses broadcasting their wares. Imagine you are a business. You know most people have internet connections. But some dinosaurs don’t. How are you going to reach out to them? Simple. Broadcast your wares using social media. And use KooKoo to have your wares read out!!

·         Disaster management. Probably one of the first use cases you’ve guessed. You know about Facebook’s feature. (Mark yourself safe and sound.) But of course, you may not have Internet to mark yourself safe. So this is where KooKoo comes in. Mark yourself safe using KooKoo!

·         Personalized messages. Okay, this one’s more of a harmless bit of fun. Send out personalized birthday greetings or new year’s greetings to your friends and family

Well, of course, there are a ton of more things you can do. Just check this out for more ideas.
